Zhemgang is known as a birder’s paradise having recorded  over 357 birds in the district. The landscape, varying elevation and climatic conditions makes it easier for the bird watchers to spot birds in their habitats.The  birding trails with designated paths or routes are specifically chosen for birders to explore and observe various bird species. These trail are often found in parks, nature reserves, and other protected areas known for their biodiversity with altitude ranging from 548m-1617m.
