Details
Nestled in the heart of the forest, a sacred lake exudes an aura of sanctity that has mesmerized all those who ventured near. Pilgrims and visitors from near and far visit the lake and experience spirituality and tranquility. It is place where sacredness and nature seamlessly blend, providing solace to the souls amidst the calmness. Beliefs hold that one sees the flickering lights on the surface of the water, as though butter lamps were offered and considers it as a collective luck and blessing of the on-lookers. The lake  is said to be wish fulfilling and that makes it mystical and revered.

The lake will be declared as “High Value Conservation Area” (HCVA) by the Zhemgang Forest Division in consultation with the local government. The establishment of HCVA was supported by IKI-Landscape Project with WWF-Bhutan Office.
