Lower part of Zhemgang is not only rich in wildlife but also home to Bhutan’s largest river basin: the Mangdechhu and Drangmechhu that joins the Manas. Rafting has become a popular water sport in the green emerald waters of Manas, offering adventure and recreational packages from October to May. It offers exhilarating experiences as one navigates through the silent tamed water and occasional rapids.
