Castle of Bjoka nobility, the structure still stands strong as a testimony to centuries gone by and its architecture is a indelible proof of the past. No one knows exactly when the castle was built, however oral sources says it may be 800 years old. The castle built with Bhutanese masons and Indian masons with the mosaic of stones makes its architecturally distinct and unique. The 3 storied castle has 22 rooms, inviting exploration and enchantment to visitors. As a residence for nobility, it served strategic and administrative purposes for the people of Lower Kheng in the past.
